knowledge, and the proper service procedures to provide quality workmanship. In addition, Aidant employees attend manufacturer’s training for proficiency in all of our product lines. We expect our technicians to become NICET certified (National Institute for Certification of Engineering Technologies). NICET certification implies a high degree of technical competency in the field of fire protection along with many years of experience. |

NICET certification ranges from Level I (entry level) to Level IV(highest achievable level). The fire protection categories are FireAlarms, Fire Sprinklers, and Special Hazard Fire Protection Systems. Our technicians are Level II or III and our managers are Level III or IV. Our fire alarm designers are Level IV. |
Level I: Application to NICET- employment in the fire protection industry Level II: 2 years of practical experience- must pass exam on various work elements Level III: 5 years of practical experience- must pass exam on various work elements Level IV: 10 years of practical experience- must pass exam on various work elements |
